    I just take their word for it, and have them message me their XP amount. I did have a screenshot of the top50 though, so I can crossrefrence those.

    Well sorry but not everyone know the XP they had before reset by heart. Reset comes a bit from nowhere and no one warned that we need to keep track of the xp we had seems people (including me) just don t know how much xp they had

    If you remember your captain level and/or what ships you bought that can let you estimate it.
    The dev is being very lenient about it so just tell him a guess.
