During the allocution phase it would be nice if with on click you could choose between 2-4 present configuration. Such as max shield, max speed, or a preferred personal setting. I have notice most players spend 30-45 seconds on the first allocation phases. Having a present might speed the pace of the game.
Even if we couldn't have multiple presets, even having one default that is in place when you first enter a sector instead of doing the same thing from zero every time would be a step forward. By the same token, there are a number of UI improvements that could be made especially in shield allocation. Have a button to take all to max or to drop all or to add or subtract one from all etc.
